Chicken Burger

Chicken burger served with sliced tomato, lettuce and mayo sauce.

Ingredients

To make patties:

  • Boneless shredded Chicken 1/2 pound or 1/4 kg
  • 3/4 cup grated mozarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 tsp black pepper, divided
  • 1/2 cup bread crumps
  • Oil to shallow fry
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp mayonaise
  • chopped coriander leaves
  • salt to taste
To make mayo sauce:
  • 3 tbsp mayonaise
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tsp jalepeno vinegar
Other ingredients:

  • Lettuce
  • Sliced vine tomato
  • Hamburger buns
Directions
Step 1:
Boil the boneless chicken with salt, turmeric and water. Take a mixing bowl. Add flour, egg, mayonaise, 1 tsp black pepper, salt, lemon zest, coriander leaves, shredded chicken and cheese. Mix well. Refrigerate for half hour so that the mixture gets thick to make patties.
Step 2:
While the patty mixture is refrigerating, prepare mayo sauce as given in the ingredients section.
Step 3:
Keep the lettuce petals and slices of tomatoes ready.
Step 4:
After half hour of refrigerating, take out the patty mixture and shape them into round, flat patties. The mixture I have used yields 5 patties. Dust in bread crumps on both the sides.
Step 5:
Heat oil in a pan. Shallow fry the patties on both the sides until golden brown.
Step 6:
Arrange lettuce, tomato, patties and mayo sauce on the burger buns.
Ready to serve!

Notes:
1. The patties can be made big to fit into the burger buns.
