Pudhu Manjal Nellikai Sadham/ Fresh turmeric with Amla rice

Pudhu Manjal Nellikai Sadham/ Fresh turmeric with Amla rice

South Indian rice variety made with fresh turmeric and Nellikai. Fresh turmeric has a good flavor than dried and close relative to ginger. We should peel the skin of turmeric before using them. I have tried this rice variety and it turned out awesome along with the benefits of nellikai. As nellikai gave the tanginess to the rice, it tasted more like lemon rice.

Notes:
1. Using the oil is of preference. We generally use wood pressed groundnut oil for all the mix rice varieties.
2. Adjust the spiciness and the quantity of the vegetables as per the needed quantity.
