Red Swiss Chard Poriyal

Red Swiss Chard Poriyal

Red swiss chard has got wavy, broad green leaves which are available year around. The flavor of this greens is similar to beet greens and/or spinach. Usually I chop off the stems from the leaves since they are hard to cook. Swiss chard is packed with nutrients and vitamins. This simple recipe can just be a side dish for South Indian rice.
