Sweet Potato Chapati/Paratha

Sweet Potato Chapati/Paratha

Chapati/Paratha with mild sweet in taste which is perfect for fussy eating kids. And for adults, this is a slight variant in taste from the usual chapati. Sweet potato is rich in Vitamin C, manganese and promotes skin and bone health. We can relish this vegetable as such after steaming. For people who do not prefer to have steamed/boiled potatoes, this chapati is an option. Any sabzi/chutney can be accompanied with this recipe.

Take a lemon sized dough. Dust with wheat flour. Roll it thin as chapati.
Step 6:
Heat a pan. Cook chapati on both the sides. Smear with oil/ghee.
Sweet potato chapati is now ready to serve!!

Notes:
1. This paratha has a mild sweet taste in it. If you do not prefer sweetness in chapati, please do not make it:-).
2. Adding sweet potato gives more softness to the paratha. Do not add more of potato. 1:3(sweet potato: wheat flour) ratio works perfect.
